5 THINGS TO DO DURING SELF-ISOLATION FROM CORONAVIRUS

There has been alot of panic since the outbreak of coronavirus. It is still not known how long this pandemic is going to last. Whilst this pandemic is going on, self isolation has been a main strategy to reduce spread of this viral infection. So alot of you will be asking yourselves what you should do during this time that you’ll mostly be indoors? Well here are a few ideas of what you can add to your “to do list”

1) Relaxation exercise
This may be a time of panic but it could be a time to help you relax and relief yourself from your normal out door routine. Some of the indoor relaxation exercise recommended are: Yoga, stretching, short daily workouts. This could be a time for you to give more attention to your body and mind.

2) Make improvements on your diet
Spending more time at home means you will have time to cook healthy meals. The busy outdoor life doesn’t give you time to focus on eating healthy. The overwhelming stress of commuting to work can sometimes increase your craving for fast food. Therefore, this could be a the right time to look after your self to eat more healthy home cooked food.

3) Family time and bonding
Our busy outdoor life doesn’t allow us to spend quality time with family. Therefore, staying indoor during the time of isolation could turn out to be a positive way of spending time with family. As we are all looking out for our family members to be protected from this pandemic, this could bring positive discussions on the dinner table among family members.

4)Improve your skills and train
This could be the perfect opportunity for you to do some online training or learn some new skills. You can use this opportunity to go online and learn short courses to learn new skills. For instance, you can visit Udemy ,it provides a variety of short courses at affordable price.

5)Self reflection
This could be a moment for self reflection towards your achievements and goals. Now that you will spend less time outdoors, you could have some “me” time.For instance it could be reflecting on self development goals,this year’s resolution and so on.One of the most inspiring coaches is Simone Sniek. He explains what motivates people to do what they do everyday. He talks about understanding and self evaluate skills and ability to perform and accomplish tasks.
